Trade show season is upon on us and to kick it off we’ve got the scoop from Pitti Bimbo! Pitti Bimbo was a fanciful event filled with positivity and confidence; a true wonderland for moms, minis, and children’s fashion fanatics! The fair wooed thousands of visitors and buyers with fabulous presentations, fashion shows and projects at every corner of the Fortezza. Much like a museum of creativity, art galleries and racks of never-before-seen collections were highlighted by expert staging and state-of-the art decor. Most notably of these events was the launch of the Emilio Pucci kids wear line, and the projects from Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.
This year, there were 9 different sections dedicated to children’s research and lifestyle: Fancy Room, The Nest, KidzFIZZ, Ecoethic, Sport Generation, Fashion at Work, Superstreet, Apartment, and Pitti Bimbo. Each section expanded on children’s lifestyle with ingenious concepts to explore the wonderful world of kid’s fashion. Our personal favorite, the Apartment, featured sophisticated, contemporary brands including The Small Gatsby, Caramel Baby & Child, as well as Monnalisa and Savio Firmino’s new collection of co-branded furnishing accessories. On our hot list for this year’s Pitti Bimbo are coveted brands: B. Nosy, Happy Camp, Kenzo Kids, Monkind, Roberto Cavalli, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Stay tuned for our next stop… Playtime Paris where the magic of kids wear continues!
